TELEGRAPH - As 2010 Bahrain Grand Prix draws ever closer, the world of motor sport can hardly wait to find out who will win the first bout of the season between Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton, the two McLaren drivers.
Many are predicting a difficult relationship between the Englishmen, who have each won the title over the last two seasons. But on Wednesday, Button himself stressed the importance of co-operation.
If he and Hamilton failed to work together, he argued, they would have no chance of competing against one of the strongest driving line-ups in the sport's history.
"The important thing is that we share information," Button said. "You haven't got a chance if you don't work together as team-mates. It's so competitive now in Formula One. You've got Ferrari, Mercedes, Red Bull and ourselves at McLaren. It's going to be a very tough season."
L3wi5 Hamiltoff's NOTE> IT'S GOING TO BE 2008 ALL OVER AGAIN... ONLY THIS TIME INSTEAD OF ALONSO, BUTTON WILL SNAP EVEN EASIER... OR WILL HE?
